Striking new design and performance features are the keynotes of the new Davey Silensor water cooled swimming pool pump.

Developed and manufactured in Australia the new Silensor is powered by the acclaimed award winning and patented Davey water cooled electric motor which is encased in stainless steel with a corrosion proof polymer coating.

The Silensor achieves ultra-quiet operation with an officially measured noise rating under 54dBA at one metre distant from the pump. The key benefits of this are that neighbours are unlikely to be disturbed by noise of the pool pump in operation. This is an important consideration since most domestic swimming pools, their pumps and associated fittings typically adjoin dividing fences or occupy tightly constrained backyard areas. Additional features include automatic ‘dry run’ protection which means that the mechanical seals and motor components are protected against loss of water supply. Equally at home with chlorinated or salt water, the complete pump assembly is UV stabilised for outdoor installation and is entirely corrosion proof. The pump has a huge leaf basket and lint pot to trap the natural contaminants of swimming pool pump systems. It is also compact with a patented Davey design two piece impeller that gives improved priming performance and air handling ability. Any servicing needs are also facilitated by its design. Silensor also has an advanced seal wetting and protection system for a long trouble and maintenance free service life. As a result the hydraulic performance is improved dramatically with less potential for impeller blockages or jams.
