Clean Water pumps are ideal for pumping out basements or car parks where the water is clean with no large solids.

Dirty water pumps are ideal for Pumping small or soft solids such as in septic or sullage and greywater pits.
They can handle hair and lint from washing machines and showers and will last a lot longer for this duty than a clean water pump.
